Short for Cecilia, a name that means "Blind to one's own beauty" our best-selling, classic leather bag is named for our founder's own grandmother, who he knew simply as Ganny. Spending many weekends at his grandparents' house, Jarrod remembers sitting next to his grandfather "Poppy" while he carefully hand stitched leather wallets and belts.

"Poppy" had a long career as a leather inspector and thoroughly enjoyed using his artisan skills to create leather goods for others. Both his grandfather Gene and grandmother Cile loved not only leather but people and Jesus. Their love for leather, people and Jesus live on through the artisans of Lazarus Artisan Goods.
