Located at 5,000 feet above sea level, the climate of this protected mountain cloud-forest provides cool evenings and breathtaking views from the newly converted bed & breakfast on the coffee farm. Your palate will enjoy the culinary experience of local food and culture prepared by the mission's own restaurant, The Posada.
This unique service trip can accommodate a group no larger than 9 persons and is six days and five nights (travel on Thursday and the following Tuesday.)Cost does not include international airfare (to/from Tegucigalpa), but does include a regional flight from Tegucigalpa to the final destination. Cost/person is $700.00 and can be paid in two installments.
Along with the coffee farm, Mission Lazarus also empowers other residents in the community through various trade-schools, medical clinics, children’s homes and churches in the region. This trip includes a tour of each of these programs for a holistic picture of the impact being sustained through relationships with individuals, families, and communities in the region.
